The Dick Prodey Lecture Series

The Prodey Lectures are a free, 8-week recurring series held Wednesdays at 7 p.m. at Sheppard Pratt Hospital. Sponsored jointly with The Kolmac Clinic, The Sheppard and Enoch Pratt Hospital and NCADD-MD, the lectures cover the myths of alcohol and alcoholics, characteristics of the disease, signs and symptoms, the dynamics of dependency, complexities of recovery, attitudes, definition of addiction, and the impact of addiction on families and others. The schedule of the lecture series is subject to change each quarter.
